Watch What Happens When Something Goes Wrong

Watch what happens, the next time something goes wrong.
Culture shows most clearly at the point of failure.

- Who takes responsibility?
- Where are the sources of truth?
- Do people hide, fix, escalate, cover up?
- Is failure treated as a learning opportunity?

It is extremely difficult to build culture. 

I can speak from experience on this because I have lived through it.

Culture cannot be prescribed or faked.

It has to be earned.

A big part of that is leaders doing more than the minimum expected, taking responsibility, being present and showing solidarity when things are going wrong.
